Windsor can be a beautiful place to pop the question, especially if you’re looking for a waterfront setting with the Detroit skyline or Ambassador Bridge in the background.
We can help you plan the location, timing, meeting point, and photography position so your partner has no idea what’s coming.
We’ll discreetly photograph the proposal and then transition into a relaxed engagement session after they say yes.
A Real Detroit-to-Windsor Proposal
One of our recent proposals was for Corey, who lives in Berkley, Michigan.
He wanted to propose to Emma during a day together that included lunch by the river and a ballet in Detroit that evening. Because he wasn’t familiar with Windsor, he reached out to us for help choosing a scenic location within walking distance of lunch.
We recommended Assumption Park.
Corey and Emma arrived thinking they were simply taking a walk along the river. We were already positioned and waiting for them.
When the moment was right, Corey got down on one knee.
After Emma said yes, we photographed the newly engaged couple around Assumption Park and the Windsor Riverfront, using the waterfront, greenery, and Ambassador Bridge as backdrops.
The result was an entire engagement experience without having to travel between multiple locations.

Your session will take place in Windsor, Ontario, just across the Detroit River.
You can cross into Windsor via the Ambassador Bridge or Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, depending on your preferred route.
Because border crossing times can vary, we recommend allowing extra time when planning your arrival.
Once your session is booked, we’ll provide your location, meeting instructions, and everything you need to know before your session.
Important:
We currently offer photography sessions in Windsor and Essex County for Detroit-area clients. We do not currently travel into Detroit for these sessions.
